Just curious, did ADG ever run a story on the Ole Miss win and the UALR win?

yes the ADG ran a story for both. The paper ran the edited version of our own Sports Information release, but both those games were in the ADG.

This is all - no pictures, no headlines. Just an afterthought article under the hogs write-up.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS 6, UALR 2
Central Arkansas (11-11) broke open a scoreless game in the top of the sixth inning, scoring five runs, and went on to beat UALR (4-17) on Tuesday night at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock.
UALR helped the rally by hitting three batters in the inning, with two of the three coming around to score.
Pinch-hitter Tye Throneberry opened the inning by getting hit and quickly scored on Chris Davis’ double to left field. The Trojans brought in reliever Mike Rogers, who promptly hit Chris Houk to put runners at first and second. Scott Cline’s sacrifice bunt moved the runners up and Davis then scored on a wild pitch.
Jonathan Yerby was hit by yet another pitch and pinch-hitter Kent Taylor singled to score Houk for a 3-0 lead. After UALR got two outs, Payton Seelinger hit a ground ball to third that Kody Kroll fielded and threw wildly past first, allowing Taylor and Yerby to both score, making it 5-0.
UALR got one run back in the bottom of the seventh when designated hitter Jared Powell led off with a double and scored on Zach Rowles’ RBI single to center field.
UCA answered in the ninth on freshman Kyle Taylor’s RBI single that scored Davis. Powell led off the ninth inning with a home run off UCA reliever Matt Humphrey.
Senior Daniel Price (1-0) got the victory in just his third outing of the season. He pitched 3 innings, striking out 3 and allowed 5 hits. Nathan Parker (0-4) got the loss after allowing 5 hits and 2 runs, with 3 strikeouts, over 5 innings.

Other than a blown up picture and front page headline, sitting directly next to the hog baseball story is not the worst placement. We are getting about as much coverage as anyone else does in college baseball in the state of Arkansas, not named the razorbacks. Anytime we win, and they place our article, piece, couple of paragraphs next to the hogs and SEC scores and articles, that isnt necessarily a bad thing! It's not big, but it is in there! In prime position when and where they do cover college baseball.

it might not seem like enough to any of us, but it is certainly better than the alternative of nothing! Especially when it involves us winning!
