Game times WERE supposed to be 6 pm Friday, 2 on Saturday, and 1 on Sunday.

But with the weather the way it is, the game time on Friday has already been pushed up to 3 pm! Chances are, there will be a likely doubleheader Saturday beginning "around" 2 as I understood it in Coach's office yesterday.

Lamar comes in 13-3, and they took 2 of 3 from Nicholls State in Beaumont last weekend. This will be the first time all season that Lamar has left their home stadium, so let's welcome them to Conway warmly...or COLD whichever!

I just received word that Steve O will not be calling the game today. He is apparently very under the weather. However, Levi Gilbert and Mark Oliver will be filling in for Steve O.
Be sure to tune in on UCASports.com or KUCA 91.3 FM for all the action starting at 3:00 pm today.

Hope you get to feeling better Steve O.

Wagner just homered to make it 7-1.
You have to feel pretty comfortable with Cloud on the mound and a 6-run lead.
Not counting chickens, just sayin'.

Just the 5th homer of the season for the Bears. I'll take wins over power obviously. (Remember Lamar has 20 so far.)

Throneberry is still on fire. I wonder how many 9-hole hitters are hitting over .440.

Impressive win against the #23 team in the nation. This team might just be better than expected but the season is still young. Let's hope we stay basically injury free and make some more noisy before the year is over.

Compared to last week Jeremy had a terrible game.
I mean, 2 runs and 8 hits in just 9 innings? Weak.

I sure do hope so...but lets not forget they started off well the past 2 years and finished .500 or less! Lets hope not to have a repeat of those 2 years!

Who had them at #23?????

The highest I've seen is "also receiving votes".

Straight from the LCD yesterday:

The Cardinals (13-3, 2-1) are ranked No. 23 in the Collegiate Baseball national poll.
