The Mavs come to Conway, for what I believe is the first time, ever maybe!

Friday's game is at 7 pm, so go watch the Purple and Gray game at 5:30, and then head over to watch the Bears take on a very good UTA team who's won 4 of 6 including a win v. Baylor Tuesday night.

Saturday's Game is at 2, and Sunday's game is at 1. Pregame will begin 20 minutes before first pitch, and if weather is bad or iffy, we will keep you updated one way or the other on The Bear 91.3, and obviously via UCAsports.com as well.

Big series vs a very good team...but then so are the Bears....hope the crowd is a record each day....

Weather Forcast as of a few minutes ago:

Tonight: 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms, then periods of showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 57.

Saturday: 70% Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy, with a high near 68.

Saturday Night: 60% Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 9pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy, with a low around 55.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71.

Sunday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Basically, we should be ok tonight, but the rest of the weekend could be hit or miss, or a long weekend at the yard.

Maybe one of these weekends I won't have to be traveling for wedding showers or a bachelor party and I'll actually be able to come to a ball game. Not too many left. Starting to rethink this whole "marriage" thing... :wink:

Bears drop game #1 of the double header today 6-8...we currently trail 4-3 in the bottom of the 3rd.

Tough two losses today.....UTA not a bad team with a 14-7 SLC record ......need to get a win this week against Dallas Baptist and get ready for the weekend...

DB has a pretty impressive record of 25-11 with some wins over some bigger schools. Whupped us 12-3 at their place back in March. Hopefully what goes around comes around. :wink:
