That's the ball game....

UCA 7
TAMU-CC 8

With only 3 SLC series left...we've only won 1 and that was the very first one of the season!
That brings the SLC losing streak to 7.
  :?

These are also not just losses but bad losses.
Losing games like this don't just go down in the L column but in the mentally defeating column. It would have been nice to bounce back today with a win, but to have it happen again... ugh.

Too bad to lose a game that Reece Cross had a nice outing...Pritchett seems snakebit.... have to suck it up and keep playing hard.....

And most of us thought the pitching this year was going to be our strong point as opposed to our hitting. Maybe the 15-1 drubbing in the middle of the week had something to do with it. You think?

Going into the bottom of the 7th

UCA 21
TAMU-CC 2

If we blow this...
Run rule is in effect, so the Isalnders only have 3 outs to score 9 runs to keep it going.

I was really looking for this series to be the catalyst to finish the season strong, but dropping 2 of 3 is not what I had in mind. Hopefully, this last win will be enough to get them going!
