Today's baseball game was postponed, but they will play a doubleheader tomorrow starting at 11 am.

Just wondering if they will be 7 inning games since it's on a Sunday. BM, you got any idea?

unless the coach's agree on something, all division 1 conference games must be 9 innings....or so I'm told

Bears and Cardinals split the doubleheader, but the Bears win the series 2-1. Great series win for the guys! They had their first three game winning streak, but it was snapped. This series win should give the team major confidence throughout the rest of the season. Way to go guys.

Next up: at Missouri State next Tuesday and Wednesday (no radio coverage). Followed by a SLC weekend series vs. nationally-ranked Southeastern Louisiana.

I've been resting since getting back to Conway around 2-3 am Monday morning.
Funny thing is, it was kind of disappointing with the final loss to Lamar in game 2 of the DH. The loss ALMOST threw a blah feeling on the whole weekend...BUT it didnt. The Bears went 3-1 last week, and was 1 out away from sweeping Lamar on their home field. That's not too bad considering the week they had had before. The team performs much better when they have their legs under them are are rested up. Tough next 5 games coming up on the road with Missouri State fro two and then on the road at SELA, who has been absolutely rolling through the early part of the season.

I see where the 8-9 Cowboys of McNeese got a win against SELA Sunday. Maybe there's a little crack in their armor that we can take advantage of.
