Doug and his staff have always had great student-athletes who do very well in the classroom. Glad to see they pulled that out, now maybe some of that will carry over to the field! :wink:

Baseball Bears beat UAPB 10-3 this evening in Pine Bluff. Zack Dickson Tye Throneberry, Kyle Prevett, and Ethan Harris had great games on the plate. Ethan McKenzie picks up his first win as a Bear.

They have a weekend series in Arlington, TX against the UTA Mavericks this weekend. Games are 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Listen to games on 91.3 The Bear and ucasports.com with Steve Owens. Coverage begins 20 minutes before first pitch.

one quick correction, nothing big, but Friday's game starts at 6:30, and not 6 pm. So pregame will begin at 6:10, other than that, every thing is ready to go! We are coming off a win @ UAPB, UTA is coming off a 21-2 loss @ #2 Texas last night.
Basically, we need wins, period.
