If my math is correct, that was Wild's 26th appearance of the season, which sets the record most appearances in a single season in UCA history. He's also thrown 92.1 IP this season, third most in a single season in UCA all-time (Jeremy Cloud set the record last season with 103 IP) It was Wild's 68th appearance all-time in 3 years (I think), fourth most in a UCA uniform (1 behind 3rd place)

Also going back to last weekend at SHSU, Bobby picked up his 18th win for his career on Saturday, 3rd most in a UCA uniform all-time. (2 behind Wes Gardner and 3 behind Zach Barnett) Bobby will also finish #1 in UCA all-time in starts, innings pitched and batters faced. Among with many other categories, he will finish up #2 all-time in strikeouts, and third in saves with 9, more likely than not.

And finally, with the sweep last weekend, Doug picked up career coaching victories 206, 207, & 208, tying him with Dr. Fletcher Lowry's 208 wins for most all-time in UCA baseball coaching history.

As for last night, it got ugly in a hurry. La. Tech plays in an offensive friendly park with the dimensions so small and they go up hacking, as evidenced by us giving up 5 home runs last night...
Quote:
After tonight this year's Bulldog team has become arguably the best hitting team in the school's history as they have already shattered the school's single season doubles record with 132 and have now set new Tech records for hits (645), Runs (451) and RBI (411) while also ranking fifth all-time with 74 homeruns on the year. If the season ended today the team would also own the record for team average as they are currently posting a .345 team batting average. Maybe the most impressive note about these mind boggling offensive numbers is that the Bulldogs still have four regular season games remaining.

One bright spot on the mound for us was Evan Cox. He looked as good as I've seen him, maybe all year long, but definitely in the last few weeks for sure.
