I don't know who all we've looked at/signed since season started but these were guys we got back in December during the early signing period. Also, DemGaz had their list of All-Arkansas guys in Sundays issue. Didn't say where they were going but the state has some guys with pretty solid numbers this year.

1.Drew Trout, a 6-foot-3 left-handed pitcher/outfielder, comes to the Bears from Blue Valley West High School in Kansas. A three-year letterman and two-year co-captain at Blue Valley West, he was named first-team All-Eastern Kansas and All-Sunflower Team.

2. Logan Moon, a 6-2 outfielder from Blue Springs South High School in Missouri, was a two-sport athlete playing baseball and football. He is a two-year letterman on the baseball team. As a junior he hit .330 with a .523 slugging percentage. He was selected to the 2009 Examiner High School Baseball All-Area second team and a top 20 prospect at No. 8 in the 2007 Rawlings Perfect Game Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase. In the summer, Moon was teammates with Trout playing with the Kansas City Barnstormers.

3. Doug Votolato, a 6-2 infielder, comes to the Bears from Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX. He is a switch-hitting infielder, a three-year varsity letterman, and team captain. As a junior, he batted .320 with 3 home runs and 15 RBI. Votolato also competes in summer ball with the Dallas Tigers, one of the top select teams in the state of Texas.

we need a 5'9" all-state infielder, with good speed & a good bat. He needs to be a good athelete, who was like all -state in three sports. Maybe basketball, football & baseball. Hope we can find one !

HEY MAN, sorry to upset you. I am new to the board. Just been around a few weeks.
Just had a little info on a player that is a top notch athelete that is giving our UCA Bears a look. I am a big Football and Baseball Fan at UCA. His name will be out soon, but not by me.
sorry to upset you , I HOPE YOU WERE NOT CALLING ME A WHORE

Wish we could know now, but sounds like a promising prospect. Hopefully it works out.

And no, you are not a whore.

Two of them that they are looking at is Oliver from Shiloh and Beeks from Prairie Grove. Both of them will be Seniors this year.

Best, most recent, story I found on Chris Oliver here.

6-3, 175, throws right
89 mph fast ball
two curves - 12 to 6 sweeper and tight (out pitch)
One one out away from a perfect game... ended with next batter hitting into double play. (against Beeks' Prarie Grove team)
Struck out 15 of 21 faced in the game.

I can't find any season stats for him though.

The other mentioned is Jalen Beeks from PG.
Beeks is another pitcher, but he's a lefty.
But according to MaxPreps put up some good numbers at the plate as well:
.329
76ab
20 runs
25 hits
23 rbi
6 2b
.433 obp
.408 slg
14 bb
13 k
4 sb

On the mound:
9-3
14 appearances
11 cg
1.09 era
70.2 innings
110 k : 16 bb (almost 7:1 ratio)
.153 ba against

the pitching numbers are solid, but a .329 high school batting average isn't that great. much more impressed with the 1 pt ERA and W-L record
