Am I to assume that gray is no longer one of UCA's official colors?

No, you are not to assume that.

11/1/2010 5:41:17 PM

CONWAY, Ark. - The pitching trio of Brian Willson, Blake Payne and Bryce Biggerstaff limited the Black team to just three hits and an unearned run as the Purple squad took game three of the UCA Fall World Series 2-1 in seven innings. The Purple team now has a 2-1 lead and will try to wrap up the series on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Bear Stadium.

Willson started for Purple and struck out two and allowed three walks and two hits over five innings. Payne struck out two during a perfect sixth inning and Biggerstaff earned the save by fanning the last two batters after allowing two runners to reach...

How did Salsbury from Shiloh do in the World Series? Did Ethan McKenzie pitch for UCA any or is he playing another position? Does UCA have a website that list recruits that they are looking at? Was wondering about a player from Little Rock Catholic. Good luck in the season.

There's only a box score online from game 1 and Salsbury didn't play in that game. He also wasn't mentioned at all in the writeups from the other four games.

Similar story for McKinzie. He WAS listed in the first game's box score. He pitched two innings in that game. I don't think I saw his name listed in any other story.

The official site (UCAsports.com) can not have a list like that, NCAA rules, unless they have already signed their LOI with UCA.

I believe Salsbury is nursing an injury.

As for McKinzie, he has pitched in a lot of the intrasquad games. I know that the other day he threw three innings, giving up no runs, and had 3 Ks
