I'm under the impression he wont be the last to sign with us during this early signing period either! So hopefully there will be more news coming out at some point about others.

Can you tell us who else we are recruiting? Your NOT part of the "coaching staff" so it's not a violation, right?

Russellville Cyclones senior catcher Jake Holloway signed a national letter of intent to play baseball for Allen Gum at the University of Central Arkansas

Quote:
Holloway didn’t play baseball for the Cyclones during his junior season, but plans to lead them to a state championship in 2011.

...

“The new coach, Allen Gum, (at UCA), he’s good,” Holloway said. “I think he’s going to turn the program around. He went like 224-68 at (Southern Arkansas University) and they were ranked No. 1 for three years. He knows what he’s doing, so I look forward to playing for him.”

All of your "jobs" are interfering with your primary job of supplying information to this message board! Get a grip or you're fired!

http://thecabin.net/sports/college/2010-11-16/rougeau-play-baseball-uca

Nick Rougeau of Conway, a four-year letterman at Little Rock Catholic, has signed to play baseball for the University of Central Arkansas...

There I felt I have now contributed in some way to this thread!

I've watched Zach Barr pitch since he was probably 12 or 13. That's a pretty big class for the early signing period. The thing that makes me feel good is knowing that Coach Gum has proven that he's been able to find/spot talent.

I also love the (maybe unintentional) Lebron James reference.

Brothers Alex Hurst and Austin Hurst are both bringing their talents to UCA
