Any word yet on the new stadium. If we are going to have that ready for next season, we will need to start work as soon as the season is over. I really think that it is sad that Hendrix has better facilities than we do. I just want our baseball field to reflect the same pride that we show in Estes, Farris, Prince, and the Softball/Soccer complex.

We are going to be very talented this season! If we can keep everyone healthy I think we can be a force to be reckoned with. I think we have one of the best pitching rotations in the GSC. I belive this is the first time in a while that we have actually had a closer who is worth a darn. I think our hitting has stepped up this season as well. Our 1-5 guys will be much better than last year. One thing to think of though is that these guys look really good at practice but the real test will be when they play a couple of games. But I do think we will be much improved this compared to last

I'm guessing with the good weather, they are getting a lot of time to actually work outdoors, that will help when live pitching games start as well. I am looking forward to an inmproved season for the Bear 9. I know they faltered pretty good at the end of last year, but they were young and hopefully that experience will help them through that this year. But we have one tough schedule this year, one of the toughest I have seen at UCA..and I guess that will only continue from this day forward.

I do not expect to play in a new facility next year. I do know that when the new facility is built it will be located near the softball fields.
