just a head's up, I will NOT be calling the game on Friday afternoon vs. SFA down in Nacogdoches. As you may or may not know by now, I will be just a little busy in Katy Texas still!!!!

The plan is still for me to begin baseball season on Saturday and Sunday!
GO BEARS!

Two close losses this weekend, even though we never scored more than 3 runs in a game. Good pitching by SFA or subpar hitting by us? Maybe a little of both. SFA was giving up just 4 per game before the series started. Going down today on a wild pitch in the 10th isn't a great way to lose it.

As '52 pointed out, 6 errors today; but only 1 unearned run. Fortunate in that sense, but unfortunate that one less run could have resulted in a win.

SFA was picked to finish 5th in the conference. Next up is Lamar, picked 3rd, wins over Rice, Cal State-Northridge (2), and sweep of Nicholls this weekend.
