Game 1 - first meeting between Bears (9-11) and Tigers (10-10)

Bears had plenty of chances leaving 12 on base.

Doug Votolato drove in Houston in 9th....

Bears fall to 9-12 and Tigers move to 11-10.

Much better performance than a few of the previous games, both hitting and pitching.
We finally got an early lead and few scoreless innings to start the game.

Remember that the Wichita State and Ole Miss wins came in the same season and both teams were ranked in Top 10 nationally when we played them. Need to add OU and OSU to the list as well then go to Lawrence and get some Jayhawks......
