Bears have to get it going this weekend at NWS.

Everyone has 9 games to go. Bears have to get in front of Lamar, McNeese and Nicholls for sure. Bears end up with SHS at home then on road at UTSA.

NWS is 4-5 the last 9 SLC games vs LU, TSU and UTSA (records of 40-33) while UCA is 3-6 vs TACC, UTA and NSU (34-39). However we have both played TSU at home and Bears took 2 while NWS only one. NWS was swept by Nicholls at home while UCA took 2 from the Colonels.

Not much margin of error but still in the race.

Note that TSU is #25 in D1 this week and Bears won 2 of 3 from Bobcats.

SLC Standings and games this week:

SFA 17-7 .......v SHS....maybe 2-1 to go to 19-8
#25 TSU 17-7 ...... v UTSA...maybe 2-1 to go to 19-8
SELA 14-10 .... v NSU...UCA needs SELA to sweep....17-10
SHS 13-11 ..... at SFA...maybe go to 14-13
UTA 13-11 ..... v TACC...need a 2-1 or better....15-12
UTSA 13-11 ...... at TSU...maybe to 14-13
TACC 11-13 ...... at UTA......go to 12-15
LU 10-14 ...... v MSU ....UCA needs either LU or NSU to win a game..12-15
NSU 10-14 ....... at SELA....need to go to 10-17
MSU 10-14 ....... at LU .....say 11-16
UCA 9-15 ....... at NWS.....UCA needs a sweep here in all likelihood..12-15
NWS 7-17 ........ v UCA...say 7-20

Its fair to say in terms of getting into the SLC Tournament this season the time has come for the Bears to 'put up or shut up'... HUGE series in terms of postseason possibility to say the least.
