I'd be tempted to do a game from the bleachers sometime. Heck Harry and Stoney did it in the old days on WGN. Or ifthe radio guys come back they should do a game from the roof of the press box until they level that overgrown concession stand.

hell media should be like US Postal Service, nothing, not rain, sleet, hail, snow should stop them. Their job is to paint a picture of what is going on, and if that is what is going on, so be it!

if we are going to go the way of the late Harry C., I don't see why not! That would seem most appropriate, especially if we can rip management on air like he did during his St Louis days, that got him ran out of here and to Chicago.

I like the location of the current facility, but that press box needs to be leveled.

I agree. That pressbox was built in the late 80's by the players and a maintenance man named Tom (as if you didn't suspect that by looking at it). I wonder if anything at Estes Stadium is 20 years old and built by players? It is time for the administration to make a commitment to improving the baseball facilities....either at a new site or the old. It's the right thing to do.

As an ex Baseball Bear I can tell you that the pressbox is a royal piece of crap. It isn't only a pressbox. That little crackerbox is the pressbox, restrooms, storage shed, and concession stand. Can you believe that? Also, the artist's renderings of the new baseball stadium have been around since summer of 2003. They want to rebuild the stadium where it is right now. As far as I know they are waiting on the funding, but I do know that one of the stipulations of us going D1 was to build a new baseball and softball field and possibly soccer. So I'm sure it will happen soon. I hope it stays where it is, just for sentimental reasons.

I would really like to see it stay there, but because of the parking situation on campus, I suspect it will be moved. Where ? I don't have a clue. Have heard south of Dave Ward Drive and even have heard it mentioned around the soccer complex.

I'll guess we'll all just wait and see.
