As some of you may know, one of the pitchers for harding was struck in the head last week by a line drive and he has been placed in cridical condition. Let's keep him in everyone's prayer's!

UCA will head to Harding to play the Bison in a 3 game series. I heard the 1st and 3rd game can be heard on 91.3 KUCA and AM 1230 KCON. Keep your fingers crossed on whether or not it will be on the internet.

Man teh bats were alive again on saturday as teh Bear's beat Harding in both ballgames 16-2 and 5-4. The Bear's are now 15-6 and 4-1 in conference.

They will go for the sweep tomorrow at 1:00.

One note to mention: Props to all the UCA fans that traveled to Harding to watch the Bears play. I bet there was 50 to 100 UCA fans!

Well the Bears lost the final game in the three game series with Harding 2-1. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the 7th when Andy Jackson gave up 2 runs with one out. The bears had a very good chance at tying the ballgame up in the top of the 9th as they scored a run off of a Chris Houk RBI single to right field.

The bears move to 15-7 and 4-2 in the league. They will play host to Lyon college on Tuesday at 2pm and then to Newman on Wednesday at 2pm

Tough loss for the Bears, but the pitching on both sides sounded excellent. I can not complain at all about winning 2 out of 3 in your first two conference series, but it sure would be nice to complete the sweep against some of these usually lower tiered GSC opponents to have to fall back on just in case.

Sounds like the interent feed worked itself out on Sunday, so that gives us out of towners something to look forward to on Tuesday afternoon.
