Well the hottest team in the GSC right now comes to Conway today to take on the Bears. First pitch will be at 12:00 and can be heard on AM 1230 KCON/ K-91.3 FM KUCA and also on the internet.

The 2nd game will be at around 3:00 followed by Game 3 on Sunday at 1:00

UCA lost game one 14-6 and did not pitch very well, but rebounded in Game 2 and shutout SAU 6-0 behind homers from Roger Lenderman, and Peyton Seelinger. Whitaker pitched a complete game for the Bears

Game 3 online as we speak, about to begin. Winner of game 3 looks like they sow up a bid to the GSC Tournament in a couple of weeks. The loser will still have a little work to do nextw eekend.

Bears lost 9-2 today, but they still should be looking okay for the GSC tournament I think. HSU coming up isn't that right. Then who?

SAU clinches a GSC birth today with the win and UCA will play HSU in Arkadelphia this next weekend for the final GSC match-up of the season. UCA need to win at least 2 against HSU in to be in the tournament for sure. If CBU wins all three next weekend and UCA only wins one UCA stays at home and CBU goes to Millington.

UCA will head to UALR on Tuesday starting at 5:00

as for tournament prospects, win 1 and we're in. I do believe if us and CBU end up with identical GSC records, we will go because we took 2 of 3 from them in the series against them.

Bad thing about this, I remeber a time, I believein consecuative years where all UCA had to do was take 1 game from Henderson to end the season and they would clinch a berth into the tournament....they got swept both times...hopefully history doesnt repeat again.
