This is an absolutely awesome accomplishment to beat the #3 D1 team at their house 2 of 3...way to go Bears!!!

I would guess 101 is right in that no UCA team has ever beaten a Top 3 D1 team.

KUDOS to States coach for giving the Bears credit for winning. So many times
a coach of a so-called better team wants to make excuses for a loss...but this
guy is a stand up coach, and made it a point to say more than once that the
BEARS were a quality team. =D>

Next up: UAPB 5-10
Then U. Southern Miss. 7-8, They have Miss. State next. Hate to be the team to taste that fire after those losses. :lol:

I can't get a read on either team. Almost bipolar in their play. UAPB has some nice wins against NDSU and TCU. USM has some nice wins against Missouri..but both teams have losses I can't understand...Baseball, it's such a flip flop sport that any team can beat any team on any given day...guess the lineup matchups make it that way. :lol:
