Couple of quick notes: UCA snapped MSU's 20 game home win streak dating back to a sweep of Kentucky to end the regular season last year...their last loss at home before today? Your UCA BEARS, 2-0 on May 15, 2012, where no Bulldog reached 2nd base safely the entire game and only managed 2 hits...

Obviously the #3 team is the highest ranked team UCA baseball has defeated in their D1 history. Ole Miss and Wichita St were both #10 at the time we beat them years ago. Also, Im not sure, nut this win may be the highest ranked team any UCA athletic program has defeated in D1, maybe Football over Sam this season in FCS level (which obviously is D1!) Other than that, Im drawing a blank as of now (and apologize if I have forgotten one)

UCA is now 2-1 v. Miss St. the last 2 years, and 2-3 v. the SEC/Miss schools the last 2 seasons as well. Miss St. was swept by Southeastern La a season ago, and has struggled mightily vs. the Southland the last 2 years. (Oh Well)

Win or Lose on Sunday, I think its safe to say the program is def headed in the right direction considering this is the first time UCA has ever taken on the real big boys in a full 3 game weekend series since the move up to D1 7 seasons ago. (But I would def love a series win on Sunday!) Go Bears!

I know our Bears were up 4-2 a minute ago, they may take the series. That is huge. Proud of them either way!
