Nice road win......and series win......Anders and Williams pitched a superb 8 IP giving up only 2 runs and rang up 11 Ks.....Smith led the offense going 2/5 with a double and 4 rbis….Navarro goes 3/5 with HR and 2 rbis…….7 in 9th was the ticket....

3 Bear pitchers tally 11K with only 2 BBs but gives up 3 HRs.….offense gets it donw with Smith and Doran getting 3 hits each..came from a 5-0 deficit to tie on 7th and win with two unearned runs in 10th......

Davenport pitches tremendous 8.2 IP but gives up two HRs, one the winning walk off...….7Ks and no BBs....

Most impressive sweep of a very good team at the top of SLC.....what an exceptional pitching performance by Bear hurlers...….only 4 runs allowed in 27 innings...….only 19 hits...….tallied 24 Ks...…..a WHIP of only 1.00.....plus bats scored more than enough...……...16 runs on 16 hits...…..tremendous sweep when really needed...Go Bears!!

Trying to find consistency with a young team. Last wknd was major shot in the arm, and now we have a chance to finish very strong with a favorable schedule coming up. The trip to San Antonio will not be easy; UIW might be the class of the league, but the rest of the games are against the bottom half.

Verel and Cameron are budding stars. Great to see them hitting their stride

I like our chances with pitching...………..but nothing is settled yet as the below post shows………… Bears need to keep winning series...……..
