I know I can’t really be upset about making the championship game but sure is frustrating to come up just short nearly every year

It is frustrating, but this team was very young and honestly probably shouldn't have made it that far in the first place. The future looks pretty bright!

I guess it is. Maybe gum will find a pitcher that can throw 200 pitches in a single game.

I suspect Davenport was bugging Coach to let him try just that....program has a come a long way...when I was in school I would never have thought someday we would be competitive in D1....no offense intended to players of my era at UCA..we had some good ones for sure….. but really....playing SEC and Big 12 teams and winning some has got to be progress...……...still more hill to climb but kudos to the 2019 team for getting it together late in season and making it a run.....Go Bears!!

Indeed. When I was there, we couldn’t even make the gulf south conference tourney.

Gum has taken us a long ways, but the management of the pitching staff in the tournament was still dumbfounding.

On to football. I can’t believe it’s less than 3 months away
