Coach Norvell and FSU got shafted
by the playoff committee.
Alabama coughed up more money
to get in. Head of the committee is
laughing all the way to the bank.
What a shame…

I'd imagine their big concern was TV ratings/$$S.

Once Georgia lost to Bama there was NO way the SEC would be left out.....and since Bama beat UGA, the Tide were in....Michigan was a no brainer (they got the spot reserved for best of Michigan. Ohio State, Penn State and Notre Dame)....Washington was the tip of the hat to the last real PAC 12 champion....so the Texas money (eyeballs plus their coach is a media darling) got them a spot with a win over #18 Oklahoma State that while ended up 9-4 struggled mightily all season....Noles just went undefeated in a P5 conference and won its title game over #14 that averaged 31 points per game vs 11 P5 opponents and held them to 6...of course, next year their season would get them a home game in first round...UGA fans are really honked off...
