Injuries: Fisher said it is "unlikely" that defensive end Jacob Ford (hamstring), linebacker Colin Allred (ankle) and Kevin Mawae (elbow) will play Sunday, but no other injured players have been ruled out.

5 questions: Jacob Ford

Kobe or LeBron?

Jacob is not going to suit up for the Tampa Bay game either...
Must be a pretty bad problem with the hamstring.

Ford Overcomes Life’s Obstacles to Shine in the NFL

Quote:
Shortly after his career at Central Arkansas was finished, Ford was living in Houston when he received some devastating news. His 19-year-old sister had passed away from a pulmonary embolism.

“It was very difficult. She passed real unexpectedly,” said Ford. “It was real tough. I am close to everyone in my family, but she and I hung out all the time. For her to just pass like that, it kind of shook my world.”

I see where the Steelers and Titans kick off the official season tonight. Is Jacob healed up to where he can play?

I haven't looked at the stats, but he should get credit for 1/2 a sack as well.

The Titans blew that game.

I saw Jacob being tended to toward the end of that game. He got up, but it looked like he got hurt somehow. Any ideas or scoops anyone?

That was the play that Ward fumbled. Jacob was running towards the pile when an offensive lineman slammed into his lower back. He was back in the game in overtime. It must not have been too bad.

Jacob has some type of agreement to do a weekly interview with NFL Gridiron Gab.

THIS IS THE FIRST ONE.
