Mike Malham, Sr. was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 along with Ben Pearson, Keith Jackson, Pat Day, Al Joyner, Ronnie Caveness, and Jerry Jones.

Hailing from Brinkley, Malham was a three-year letterman at Arkansas State Teachers College, now UCA. He first played for coach Charles McGibbony and then coach Howard "Pee Wee" Montgomery.
