Watching the news just now, I saw James kicking for the Twisters. He made a field goal through that narrow little arena goal.

Am I the only one to notice this or is he the youngest kicker in professional....um...anything? :!: :!: :!: :!:

Not only that but according to his stats on the official website, he's a perfect 6/6 on extra points through that little narrow goal post!

Not perfect anymore. He missed two ep's last night but he did make two field goals along with four or five extra points.

I saw an article in the paper this morning on the Twisters and it mentioned quarterback Chris Reil. I wonder if they have any other former Bears besides Reil and Paul.

James' stats so far

Field Goals 5-12 (42%) (The numbers I'm looking at only show two guys in all of AF2 over 50%)

Xtra Points 64-79 (81%)

I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Paul at the Bears vs. Aggies game last night. Very nice guy. Class act.
I wish him well.

I was told tonight JP was cut from the Twisters roster this week. They brought in some new guy that was pretty accurate but doesn't have as strong of a leg.

JP is now kicking with the Peoria Pirates. Not on the official website roster, but he told me yesterday.

He's 14-of-17 on xtra points (the same 77% he was for the Twisters --- which is slightly better than the current Twisters kicker) and just 1-of-2 on field goals.

The one he missed was over 50 yards.
