Got word a little while ago that Nathan Brown and Brad Gordan have been selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game and the East Coast Bowl.

The Shrine Game will be played in Houston on January 17th while the East Coast Bowl will be played this Saturday in Petersburg, Virgina.

Brown is the first UCA player to be invited to the 84 year old East-West Shrine game while Gordan is the fifth Bear invited to the East Coast Bowl since 2006.

I saw Justin Jones and Jasper Johnson listed on the East Coast Bowl Web site.
It doesn't look like the game will be on tv anywhere. If someone hears differently, please let us know.

Nathan dropped out, he is going to the senior bowl.
Brad never got an invite, that was a misprint...he got the invite and went to the eastcoast bowl!
