Abilene Christian 11-0 is currently ranked #2 and their offense is unstoppable! They put up 93 points against West TXA&M.

That retard interviews Thomsen and doesn't ask a single question relating to Bernard Scott and the 802,718 all-purpose yards he's racked up the last two years? Weak.

Sorry for the off subject reply, but I saw the helmet that UCAMonkey has as his avatar up at the McNeese State game. Is that a new logo or just something that someone has dreamed up? Thanks!

At the time, just another version of a logo somebody came up with but it's not in use.

2004 (Central Arkansas):
Named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Year after rushing for 1,026 yards and 11 touchdowns on 163 carries for the Bears. Scott posted six 100-yard rushing games as the Bears had one of the top offenses in NCAA Division II football. As a freshman, Scott's offensive coordinator was current ACU offensive coordinator Ken Collums, and the Bears' offensive line coach was current ACU head coach Chris Thomsen.

2007 (Junior):
Put together arguably the greatest season by any running back in Lone Star Conference history. Scott broke the league's single-season rushing record with 2,165 yards and set a pair of NCAA Division II single-season records with 39 total touchdowns and 234 points scored. His 35 rushing touchdowns were the NCAA Division II single-season record until Northwest Missouri State's Xavier Omon scored five in the final two weeks of the season to finish with 37 total to establish a new single-season record.

2008 ACU Wildcat Football
Abilene Christian Overall Individual Statistics
(as of Nov 22, 2008) All games

RUSHING GP Att Gain Loss Net Avg TD Long Avg/G
Bernard Scott 11 240 2041 54 1987 8.3 26 80 180.6

RECEIVING GP No. Yards Avg TD Long Avg/G
Bernard Scott 11 42 750 17.9 6 56 68.2

He rushes for 180 and receives for nearly 70 per game! 250 per game by himself!

Thomsen might be a suitable replacement whenever Conque gets lured away.
