Conway channel 43. I might host a watch party...

From the NFL network:

On January 21, NFL Network kicks-off exclusive, week-long coverage of the 2008 Senior Bowl. Coverage follows the top 100 college seniors from daily practices through the game. Played in Mobile, AL, on Saturday, January 26, the Senior Bowl is a key scouting tool for NFL teams as they prepare for the Draft.

I wonder who's coaching in the Senior Bowl. Hope it's not Houston Nutt. Nathan wouldn't even have to get his arm loose.

Isn't the Senior Bowl coaching staff made up of the coaching staff from the worst record team(s) in the NFC and AFC? I know the Houston Texans had the responsibility the offseason before they plucked "Super" Mario Williams with the first pick.

Brown and Branson have a busy few months. They got NFL combine invites too.

Looks like you're right TT on the coaches. From the Senior Bowl website:

The Senior Bowl is the nation’s most unique football game and football’s premier pre-draft event, annually featuring the country’s best senior collegiate football stars and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South which are coached by the entire coaching staffs from two National Football League teams. Senior Bowl practices are also attended by over 800 general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts and other front office personnel from the 32 National Football League teams, making Mobile and the Senior Bowl the week-long host to a one-of-a-kind NFL Coaches Convention.

From the Senior Bowl Homepage:

Who's the best senior quarterback this year?

Graham Harrell-Texas Tech
Cullen Harper-Clemson
Rhett Bomar-Sam Houston State
John Parker Wilson-Alabama
Pat White-West Virginia

Yes, His name is probably not as recognizable as the rest so they didn't include him in their little poll.

That may not be what the GMs around the league think though. Bomar is listed high or at the top on just about every list I've seen.

It is apparent they don't want to see a REAL quarterback play...go figure.
Nathan will just have to go in there and beat everybody out to get some attention. Never, ever, will I underestimate that youngster.
