Just talked to Eric at practice. He's really really eager to get started in Edmonton but realizes that it is a much faster pace ballgame and schedule then what he's used to. He's made contact with Tristan and had a chance to check out the area. I asked him about the speed he showed at the proday and that whole experience. He said that his hamstrings were bothering him and if he'd been a little more stretched out then he probably would have hit a 4.2+. He also said his interview with Edmonton was quite the experience. He looked happy and is ready to show the Esks what he can do for them. Way to go Eric! 8)

Ware returned a missed field goal 58 yards for a Twisters touchdown. [pun semi-intended]

He's now returned three kicks (one field goal and two kickoffs) for touchdowns.

Eric played for the Twisters and told me that he was continually working out to keep in shape in case other leagues called for his services. Let's hope he followed through on that. Sure looks like it. 8)

Eric is apparently still playing for the Arkansas indoor football league team now called the Diamonds.

Here's a blurb from last week's playoff game:
Quote:
Saturday's playoff games

-- Arkansas 44, Corpus Christi 29: In Little Rock, Eric Ware tossed two touchdown passes and ran for another in the second half as the Diamonds defeated the Hammerheads.

Arkansas, which trailed 21-14 at intermission, outscored Corpus Christi 30-8 in the second half.

Looks like he was 9-for-14 in his first game at QB. Not sure what that's all about. But good for him. Maybe there's a second Eric Ware??
