After a week off, Fairooz really struggled this week - only catching four touchdown passes.

The Twisters win yet again with Aaron leading the way at receiver.
His line: 6 catches, 113 yards, 4 touchdowns

EDIT: Somehow, I never saw HB's post....

Aaron Fairooz was the recepient of 7 TD passes and 4 muggings at least in the end zone to stop another 4 TDs! Poor Tulsa had to resort to holding him in the endzone to keep the TDs from happening! LOL!

I don't have his final stats yet, but watching him play that game in person made me realize how good he really is. On one play he caught a 10 yard pass, shook off his defender, stepped right of the next guy, stepped left of the next guy and finally spun right of the last guy......3 guys couldn't tackle him before he stepped into the end zone...it was hilarious watching a 12-2 team just get blown out 81-55...and it wasn't even that close on the field. ...seriously.

settle down there, No 1 AF fan. the paper said he caught 6 TDs. not bad, but not 7. he's good, but if he was that good, I think he'd be playing somewhere besides with the Twisters in AF2. apparently he wasn't good enough for the CFL, or at least the team he tried to make.

My bad. The catch in the end zone in the 4th quarter was called Out of Bounds I guess. LOL. As for Fairooz, get to know the whole story behind the man before you lessen his talent and his person...they are two seperate things.

I am well aware of the "whole story." my point was, we all thought he would make it in professional football (and still hope he does) but he's playing at the AF2 level. let's not get too excited until he moves up a level or three.

Well, you can be dissapointed in his life so far, I'm not and I can imagine several on here understand he's a human being and not every journey a person takes leads them down the paths of high expectations that their fans expect of them. Aaron is a former Bear and a good guy. He is playing professional football for the Twisters and I for one am proud of him. It's hard not to get excited for former Bears who are successful, at any level of football, because I'm a Bear fan...and a fan of ex-Bear players.

no need for the Dr. Phil stuff. my only point was he's playing and excelling in AF2, so slow down a little with the lovefest for your boy. I didn't say anything about Aaron as a "person" (he's a human being? wow, I didn't realize). and I'm not "disappointed in his life" whatever that is supposed to mean. just chill out a little. you're making me want their season to end sooner rather than later.

Awesome. Good to see we are acting like children on this board now.

Congrats to Fairooz on the success.

I hope it breeds an opportunity to play at a higher level.

Aaron left the game in the 1st quarter of the division championship game tonight versus Bossier City with an ankle problem. He got rolled up pretty hard on the wall. The Twisters lost 64-50
