Got a notice from a friend that PCC is hosting a reception on 4/6/10 at 6pm at Arvest BallPark in Springdale in the Sam's Club Room. If you have any UCA friends in NWA area please let them know about this event and encourage them to attend. No charge and plenty of snacks plus I think he said Coach Conque and Nate Brown would attend with Brad.

Rumor has it that Matt and Corliss are to attend along with Clint and Brad.

CONWAY, Ark _ The University of Central Arkansas Purple Circle Club will host a Spring Meeting event on Tuesday, April 6 at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale.

The Purple Circle is a fundraising organization that supports UCA Athletics. Guest speakers at the event will include Dr. Brad Teague, UCA director of athletics, head football coach Clint Conque, women’s head basketball coach Matt Daniel and newly appointed head men’s basketball coach Corliss Williamson.

Teague and the coaches will discuss the state of UCA Athletics and give an update on the nearly completed transition to NCAA Division I. Also on the agenda will be discussions about future scheduling, recruiting and athletic facilities.

The event, which will have food and beverages provided, begins at 6 p.m. at Arvest. Sponsors are Team Wakefield of RE/MAX and Randy Koontz of Pinnacle Wealth Management.

Nice event tonight at Arvest BallPark. Catch some BP before the event as the Naturals came home yesterday....they look to have a couple guys who can rip the ball.

Pretty good crowd of NWA Bears fans at the PCC reception...maybe 30....lots of Purple and Go Bears....Brad gave a very nice talk and slide show on state of the program....Conque, Daniel and Williamson each gave nice talks on their programs....quite a few questions for each....Nate Brown was there as was Bobby Tiner....Monty gave play by play (just kiidding)....
