Chase is listed as a player on the Kingsport Mets. I guess that means he not coming back

Chase has signed with the New York Mets organization and will not be returning to UCA.

Huchingson Joins Kingsport Mets

New Mets signee, Chase Huchingson, did something last season while playing for the University of Central Arkansas that few players have done. He was both the game's starting pitcher and his team's leadoff hitter. And though he pitched only one inning, he was credited with the win. (He remained in the game as the team's DH.)

The Mets have assigned Huchingson to the Kingsport Mets. That team's roster erroneously lists the lefty as a catcher and even misspells his last name.

Chase is fairing very well so far through the early part of the season in Savannah, Ga.

The Sally League is home to the top three picks of the 2010 draft and four of the top 10.

Of course, Bryce Harper is one of those for now, but as far as I can tell Savannah never plays Hagerstown. Huchingson has matched up against Manny Machado (#3 pick) back in April.

Those season numbers are amazing for an undrafted free agent. I'm guessing the Mets are very happy with him so far, averaging 11K/9.
