I didn't even know we ever had a bowling team. I guess I can't make fun of ASU any more.

With over 100 years of experience and 17 300-games between them, it’s no surprise that the Arkansas Bowling Association (ABA) and the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) inducted Russellville’s Rawn Rhea and Clarksville’s Charles L. (Chuck) Larrison Jr., along with Jerry Wayne LaMar, to the ABA Hall of Fame during a July 10 meeting in El Dorado.
Rhea was born in Clarksville, but moved to Russellville at an early age and began his career in youth bowling. A graduate of Russellville High School, Rhea continued his bowling career as a member of the Bears bowling team at the University of Central Arkansas.
Rhea has spent the past 50-or-so years bowling leagues in Russellville, Clarksville, Fort Smith and Conway, and has maintained a competitive edge while remaining modest and humble about his accomplishments. He has maintained a 200-plus average for several years and peaked in 2007 wher he held averages of 232, 222, 225, 226, 226 and 228 in his multiple leagues. In 2008, he held averages of 227, 226, 221, 220, 217 and 215, and in 2009, his averages were 218, 217, 216 and 205. Over his illustrious career, Rhea has accumulated 13 300 games, seven 800 series’, 300-plus 700 series’ and 10 11-in-a-row games.
