Each one with his name called in the first quarter. Nothing spectacular. Yet. Ford is getting some penetration. He'll get to Garrard before the night is through.

Jacob playing well..a couple of fine tackles plus a big sack to force Jags into FG....Gruden very compimentary of Ford and has mentioned UCA several times....Hart has played some and did a very good job on one play turning the RB back into the pursuit.....

With Benton's Cliff Lee pitching for Rangers I have been switching back and forth....good night for Arkansas sports fans....

Plus Springdale's Damien Williams making a name for himself as Titans' WR....

So I was wrong. Ford just got his second sack of the season, but it was Edwards, not Garrard. Nice little UCA shout out from Tirico, too.

I missed the beginning of the game, but I didn't see much of Larry out there with the defense. He was in on special teams though.

Jacob was a beast at times. He had the sack and then the Titans gave a 3-4 look with Jacob standing up as a linebacker. His stunt took the left tackle way outside leaving a huge hole for Garrard to get pummeled by Witherspoon, knocking Garrard out of the game.

Jacob did have a couple of offsides penalties trying to guess the snapcount. I'm sure that's not something the coaches will be happy about. But overall it was probably his best game with four tackles and the sack.

On the other hand, Larry is still looking for his first NFL tackle.

Ford worthy of his red gloves
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Defensive end Jacob Ford had one of two Titans sacks in the game when he corralled Jaguars quarterback Trent Edwards in the second half. Defensive ends Jason Babin and Dave Ball had a half-sack each.

Ford recently began wearing red gloves like running back Chris Johnson and tight end Bo Scaife, and said it raises expectations: "You have to make plays if you are going to wear the red. I am not afraid of that."

One of Jacob's off sides was with the Jags at Titans 1...actually a good bet to try to get a jump .....

Larry played when Jags rushed 4-5 linemen........Gruden pointed out he was drafted for his speed off the corner.....

Fun watching both old Bears....
