Former UCA star in need of kidney transplant

Cleon Brown, a former NAIA All-America defensive tackle for the University of Central Arkansas football teams of the 1980s, is in need of a kidney transplant.

To be put on the transplant list, he needs to raise $5,000.

People interested in making a donation can call Sun Trust Bank of Georgia (1-800-786-8787) and refer to the Cleon Brown Transplant Fund.

OK, I called this number TWICE. Each time I was transferred to very nice guys who happened to be in or be from some country that does not know where Arkansas is much less how to pronouce it. Each of them tried hard but were able to find NO account set up for Cleon.

If anyone has the patience, time, or connections to determine the proper way to make a donation (account number, mailing address, etc.) I am prepared to mail a check today.

I did a facebook search for Cleon Brown and came up with 20 different dudes from Jamaica all named Cleon Brown. :shock:
