John died of a heart attack this morning after an early morning routine run. He was proud of being a UCA bear and has many friends in AR and at UCA. He loved being a high school coach. His teams at Arkadelphia were legendary, those guys still glow when they talk about playing for John Outlaw.

There are some great articles being written about John and his love for his "kids". Just google John Outlaw. If you have a chance, take time to read about him. He left a tremendous legacy.

What a loss. He was a fine player for the Bears and you just knew watching him play he understood everything happening on the field and what to expect.
