A lot of my friends are fans of the wrong team in the state as I'm sure
some of your friends are too. They are in favor of Mike Norvell to replace
Chad Morris as coach but they think he must have skeletons in his closet
because he didn't get much consideration during the past hiring search.

I assured them that he has no skeletons...He just Played at UCA and the
powers to be at UA Fayetteville would not hire a former Bear.

Or maybe he just doesn't want the job... :D

Mike on the way to Florida State as head coach....many congrats for a terrific stint at Memphis (38-15 with 3 AAC-West crowns and one overall AAC title) and best wishes in the new job......some links below to news...……..

Tough first couple years for Mike at FSU....so far in 2022 off to a 3-0 start with big road wins over LSU and Louisville.....both games decided in last minute or so....

Noles have a very challenging schedule with 4-5 remaining Top 20 teams to go....

Big win tonight for #13 Noles over unranked OU in the Cheez-it Bowl by 35-32......trailed 17-11 at half.....led 18-17 after Q3.....Sooners took lead 25-18 and FSU surged ahead 32-25 before tied again at 32...kicked a 32 yd FG for the 35-32 lead with 55 ticks to go after a 61 yd drive...then held OU to minus 5 yards on last possession.....

Noles ran for 169 and threw for 418 to total 587 and while OU ran for 253 and 243 pass for total of 496....

Admittedly OU ends the season at 6-7 with FSU at 10-3......not a milestone win over a top ranked opponent but over a big-name opponent in media's view....
