The UCA softball team will begin a four-game fall season on Thursday afternoon when they host Carl Albert State at Farris Field at 4 p.m.

From: http://www.ucasports.com/sport.asp?action=news&sportid=8&article=1458.

Carl Albert State...a junior college that seems to be a pretty good softball team; they finished with a 51-15 record last season!

So either their 51-15 record is deceiving, the lost a lot of talent, or (hopefully) our team has improved!

Guess we'll see as the season progresses. Good start though.

Can someone tell me why they played 14 innings. According to the LCD it was at least 3-2 UCA after the first inning and the final score was 14-2 our way. I am missing something or was there a misprint :?:

Teams often play games of that length instead of splitting it up into two seven inning games. Since its just for kicks, you can do that type of thing.
