Congrats Bears! SFA is the defending regular season champ and a pick by man to compete (and win) the title this year. In fact, they went undefeated in the SLC last year until SHSU knocked them off in the SLC tournament semifinals as part of our "Cinderella" run. This was a great step in the right direction for UCA!

CONWAY, Ark _ The University of Central Arkansas women's soccer team opened their Southland Conference era with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Stephen F. Austin on Friday at Farris Field.

The Bears (5-3-1, 1-0) won their first game as a new SLC member while SFA dropped to 5-6 overall and 1-1 in league play.
