I checked with the young lady today and Coach Kissel told her to be there Monday between 1 and 2 o'clock. Does anyone know what time they practice?

I would guess that since it gets dark around 5 that they start at 2 or 2:30.

Unlike baseball though, they have lights that work. (they're not run by a hamster in a giant wheel)

My bad....I forgot that Title IX means that women have equal or better facilities than the men.

They have a fairly new facility, and they did it, for the most part, the right way. The only complaint about the softball is lack of good seating for the fans. The field is in great shape and the press box is nice.

Talked to the young lady this morning. She was impressed with everything to do with the school. Her only drawback is the 5 1/2 hour drive. They were practicing in the Pepsi Center and she was impressed with the indoor facility. She also told me that she thought Coach Briscoe was awesome. There were a lot of positives and there are some negatives that she and I are scheduled to discuss. Overall she liked what she saw and Coach Kissel came over as a positive. Her dad and Coach Kissel know a common aquaintance, so that was good. Her mom liked everything but the drive.

Driving home is overrated. When talking with her, remind her that football, soccer and basketball play games on Saturdays. :)
