Zach did not do what he was capable of at NCAAs.....maybe a tweak...I saw his PR at the John McDonnell Invite in Fayetteville this past spring.....he won in a brisk 10.07 and nearly set a facility record....think about that..with the number of top flight SEC and NCAA meets held at that facility and UCA nearly had the 100m record!! I think it is fair to say Zach is the best short sprinter UCA has ever had on the track....we have had some very good ones but Zach looked awesome in Fayetteville....Go Bears!!

A track coach told me that the Fayetteville track is sloped inward and down in some points so it's like they get to run downhill past the curves. Not sure but that explains SOME of the big speeds at that track. Never seen it but I'm sure he knows his stuff!

Wish the kid luck as he goes through his career! =D>

I think he is talking about the indoor track at the Tyson Track Center which is designed to have a very steep slant on the curves but within the rules.....no outdoor track is perfectly flat but I have worked MANY meets on that track as a meet official and any unevenness is pretty tiny...both tracks have seen great performances primarily because of the very high level of competition that occurs there...
