Another challenging schedule...terrific season last year (17-7/37-21) with some good wins (such as LSU, Georgia Tech, MS State, Memphis 2x, Tulsa, Saint Louis U, Kansas and Virginia) and a near miss (Arkansas)....

Besides ASUN games.....OOC games as follows...some very good home contests!

McNeese tourney (not on McNeese schedule yet)
LSU tourney...LSU twice, Ohio twice, Utah
1st Home tourney.....South Dakota State twice, Missouri State, MS Valley State
@La Tech
2nd home tourney....South Dakota twice, Iowa, Neb-Omaha
Arkansas....twice...home and home
Kansas tourney ....Kansas twice, Stanford twice
Ok State at Conway
@Memphis then later at Conway
Tulsa at Conway
@Missouri State

For the 2023 season, all games will be free except the two early season tournaments we host and the Oklahoma State and Arkansas games. I am sure that students will get in free. 2024 will start full season tickets.

Season to date....

13-5 overall.....terrific start...

Wins over UAB (2), Idaho State, McNeese State, Ohio (2), Utah, Mo State (2), MS Valley State, South Dakota State, South Dakota and Omaha..

Losses to LSU (by 0-1 and 1-3) @ Red Stick, La Tech @ Ruston, South Dakota and Iowa by 0-1....

Monday will see how good they are currently as Bears travel up to The Hill for a game at 6pm...then at Jayhawk Tourney in Lawrence next weekend with two games each vs Kansas and Stanford... pretty impressive schedule so far....

UCA over #6 Arkansas at Fayetteville by 2-1....

Wonder if that is a first? Several years back we had a pretty high RPI...might have got some votes then....no matter just need to keep playing well....Ok State comes to town a bit later and Arkansas makes a return trip...need to have a good crowd of purple clad fans at each...

Great season so far...helps to have two aces in the circle .....24-8/8-1 after a sweep this weekend at Jacksonville....@Mo State on Tuesday then home for weekend series vs Florida Gulf Coast....then Arkansas @UCA the following Tuesday....Go Softball Bears!!
