Schedule with some comments....

Indoor:
1/12: Arkansas Invitational at Fayetteville...meet can have some NCAA heavyweights sometimes and others good but not great field
1/20: Washburn Rust Buster at Topeka..I am not familiar with this meet but lots of good college T&F in Kansas
1/26-27: Illini Challenge at Champaign....bring your snow clothes
2/2-3: Washburn Open and Multis at Topeka
2/9-10: Gorilla Classic at Pittsburg, KS ....first rate indoor facility where NCAA D2 is often held....plenty of competition if only Pitt State there but lots of good track in Kansas JC and Missouri D2 schools
2/16: Arkansas Qualifier at Fayetteville...athletes come to this to try to get or improve a mark to qualify for NCAAs...UCA should be challenged
2/23-24: ASUN Championships at Gainesville, FL....nice...get to use the Gators facility?
3/8-9: NCAA Championships at Boston....hard to get to NCAA D1 nationals only take about Top 24 best marks

Outdoor:
3/8-9: Hendrix Alumni Invite
3/15-16: Richard Martin Invite @ UCA
3/27-30: Texas Relays @ Austin....very good meet at a very nice facility....lots of good competition
4/5: Bison Open at Searcy....old AIC rival...Harding still has very good track and field and should contend at D2 nationals
4/12-13: UALR Open at UALR
4/17-20: Mt SAC Relays at Walnut, CA...big time meet....usually nice weather...
4/24-27: Drake Relays @ Des Moines...historic relays meet in a historic stadium...can be cold and rainy that weekend..,,,I was in Des Moines this same week last year and nearly froze just walking around Drake campus
5/3-4: Memphis Tigers Invite @ Memphis...same time as the following meet so I am guessing UCA will use Memphis meet for those not likely to get NCAA mark
5/3-4: Arkansas Twilight @ Fayetteville,,,,another "make of improve your mark" meet...I have seen some superb mile runs races well below 4 minutes in past years...Arkansas, Tulsa, Ok State and Mizzou often use this as weather is nice and great facility
5/9-11: ASUN Championships at TBA
5/22-25: NCAA West Regional at Fayetteville...great competition but no team points...all about making the final entry list for nationals...UCA has had several athletes in recent years make it to this level
6/5-8: NCAA Championships at Eugene, OR.....every track and field athlete wants to compete here at least once...historic (albeit recently renovated) Hayward Field and Eugene, the real home of USA track and field...hard to get to D1 nationals
