Since there seems to be so many people with inside connections around ;), does anyone know any candidates for the job? I haven't seen any articles in the Log Cabin or anywhere, just curious.

I hear Chad Longing from Conway High wants the job and the softball coach at Hendrix College has applied. Was told they want a coach with
college experience but I think Longing would be a great fit as he knows most of the ball players in Faulkner County and has a GREAT fan following from people that just want to suppor him. UCA needs some suport for softball...................But how know what Vance will do!

Longing sounds like a good fit for UCA then, if he or anyone else can drum up support for the program and bring in talent and develop it. I don't care if we keep bringing in out of state talent, from TX and OK, as long as he or whoever we bring in develops it.
