women's golf team wrapped up their season by
placing fifth at the Southland Conference Championships at Beaumont Country Club on Wednesday. UCA junior
Nicole Forshner, who placed fourth at last year's SLC,
tied for second with a 74-74-77=225.

FRISCO, Texas- The University of Central Arkansas had two
players named to the 2008 All-Southland Conference Men's Golf Teams, announced on Thursday. Senior
Scotty Campbell was named the Newcomer of the Year and a first team All-SLC selection. Freshman
Gideon Pienaar was honored on the second team.
