No surprise here.
Hopefully Coach Kuhn can make some progress this season though.

I'm surprised. I'm surprised they weren't picked last.

Tied for 10th = last.
One point from tied for 10th = close enough to last.

And hey, we were only 1 game out of finishing t10th last season!

I agree with the last comment. I believe they will be better than what people think now.

I bet our softball players prove those polls wrong this season. Call it a prophetic statement..or just faith in the team, but I don't see them landing 10th this year. :!:

I don't see us in 10th this year either. I think you will see an exciting brand of softball. They are going to the Southern Miss Tournament next weekend. First two home games will be on February 17th against UAPB.

Hard to argue with that Monkey. You can also blame some of our success on transition. Oh wait, that's an excuse for losing in another sport. Sorry.

So are you saying that the coach has a lot to do with the success of a team? Maybe even as much as transitioning? Interesting thought.

He has done an unimaginable job putting a competitive squad on the field from a team that was absolutely horrible last year. Also we have certain sports on campus that have never been good and to do what he has done in less than a year is remarkable. I don't expect these coaches to be able to win championships during our transition but I expect them to compete.

Coach Roberts has done the same with the volleyball program that has not been traditionally strong.

And let's not forget that CC has maintained a high level of excellence on the gridiron during this time. I'm thinking baseball is knocking at the door to be making more noisy in the coming few years.

I agree. I don't know how Clark has done as well as they have with the facilities or lack of that his staff has had to recruit players with.
