FRISCO, Texas - Three University of Central Arkansas softball players have been named to the 2009 All-Southland Conference Team on Tuesday. Junior outfielder Sarah Garcia and junior pitcher Holli Hill were named to the third team, while junior infielder Rachel Baucom was an honorable mention. Hill also was named the Newcomer of the Year.

Congrats to all for the SLC honors.........much improved in many regards this season....so close to .500 for SLC play....the team should be very encouraged over what is possible next season......
