FRISCO, Texas - University of Central Arkansas junior Sarah Garcia was named to the Southland Conference All-Academic Softball Team on Monday. Garcia, a second team selection, was selected to the All-SLC third team for hitting .276 with six doubles and 15 runs batted in while playing center field for the Bears. The Sylmar, Calif. native recorded a 3.97 cumulative grade point average with a major in Family and Consumer Sciences.
