This is one of indoor track season's biggest meets and the Lied Recreation Facility is one of the most ideal facility for runners looking to get fast times as the track is 300m rather than 200m. The longer track results in fewer curves in a race and broader turns meaning easier to run.

Highlights......

b]FR Tony Stewart[/b] places 2nd in college 3000m with a PR of 8:44..about 9:18 for 2 miles or 4:39 per mile.....great improvement for a fellow who had barely run one 4:40 mile two years ago....school record in 2 mile is about 9:08...ranks 13th in SLC performance list about 10 seconds from scoring points.....

JR Phillip Boles timed 22.37 in the 200m good enough for 10th on SLC not far off the Top 8....

FR Jessica Potter again high jumped 5' 2.25" for 13th on the SLC list....probably needs to get t 5' 4" + to score

FR Jasmine Ellis leaped 17' 8.25" good for about 10th on the SLC list....need to get to 18" to score....one good jump away....

Need some PRs at SLC Indoor....hard for runners to get at conference with having to run so many prelims....conference points often goes to the toughest , not the fastest...
