Will this not be the first ever track meet at the new track?

Unfortunately that is the same day as the D1 indoor championships in Fayetteville and I had my tickets to that long ago. I understand why UCA would hold a meet on that day given we are not eligible for nationals. Sorry I cannot see the first meet just for nostalgia purposes.

Updates for March 9th:
Softball: They had a record day after sweeping UAPB today in Pine Bluff. They won game one 8-0 and game two by a whopping 18-0. First, congratulations to Coach Kuhn for winning his 400 game in game one. UCA pitchers only allowed one hit in each of the games. In game two as a team, they had a school record 23 hits in a game and 31 total bases. Bradie Baker picks up her first win as a Bear. Kelsie Armstrong picked up the win in the nightcap. Kasey Britt went a perfect three for three in game two with a school record seven RBIs. Candance Gauntt tied a school record with four runs scored.
Next Up: A huge SLC series at UT-Arlington this weekend. A must win series for the Bears

Tennis: Lost to the Warhawks today in Conway 6-1. They won one doubles match and one singles match.
Next up: They return to Southland Conference action play this Saturday hosting Northwestern State at 10 a.m.

Women's Golf: They dropped to third place in the James Madison Eagle Landing Invitational. Senior Rebecca Sorensen leads the way for UCA currently tied for 11th. Every other member on the golf team is also in the top 25th.
Next Up: They conclude the tournament tomorrow.

Track: Congrats to our track team for dominating the UCA Relays yesterday. Both Bears and Sugar Bears won 27 of 37 events total. The Sugar Bears had eight recorded marks for the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships, while the men recorded 14 marks for the conference championships. Combined they broke six school records.

Next up: Both teams are at the Rhodes Invitational Next Saturday in Memphis.

Tennis: Lost to Northwestern State at home on Saturday, 7-0. Northwestern State is the best team in the conference in tennis. They are ranked in the top 70 in the nation.
Next up: The team is off until March 27 when they host Texas-San Antonio.

Softball: Got swept this weekend at UT-Arlington. Though there were strides offensively, the pitching struggled against the hot bats of the Mavericks. The Bears are now 9-15 overall and 1-5 in conference play.
Next up: The Bears play their first home game in about a month. In fact, it is the first of 5 straight at home starting Tuesday vs. former Gulf-South rival Henderson State at 6 at Farris Field. Come support the ladies on Tuesday.

Tomorrow's Softball game against Henderson State is postponed. No make up date has been announced. So the next game is Wednesday against another former GSC rival, OBU at 6 p.m.

Men's Golf is currently tied for second as of now. I don't know the live scoring as of yet, but they are doing well in San Francisco. Junior Steven Lecuyer currently is tied for first in the individual portion. GO MEN'S GOLF BEARS!!!

Second victory in a row for Men's Golf! Great jobs, guys. Their two tournaments will be in Arkansas. At the end of the month they be participating at the UALR First Tee in Little Rock, and in mid-April, they will be in Jonesboro for the Arkansas State Red Wolves Classic. Good luck to the guys the rest of this season!
